🔭Is anyone looking for Dr Rouel and Dr Ben? 👀 We’re sorry they have been away from the surgery in recent days and have not been able to see their patients…We have a reason, we promise! It’s because they have gone over to the Philippines for a dental mission project for FADA (Filipino-Australian Dental Association) and the Prosthodontic Society of the Philippines. It’s a project that they have been working on for the last few months with fellow FADA officers and the team in the Philippines. Funds were raised here in Australia which were donated to the Philippines for the purpose of building new hygiene stations (for handwashing and brushing teeth) at a local daycare centre in San Juan, Metro Manila (Project 1) and the provision of free dentures to another community group (Project 2). Dr Ben and Dr Rouel were joined by fellow Sydney-based dentists, Dr Yippella Espino and Dr Amy Simpson of @glenbrookdentalsurgery, Dr Matthew Cohen of Happy Smiles Hornsby, and Dr Darryl Mercieca and his team from Nepean Dental Sedation, in volunteering their time and resources for these good causes. 🎊 Thank you to all the people behind the scenes and those on the front line who made this possible. 🙏🏼🦷🪥 It is indeed an honour to be part of something that will provide long term value to the communities that we serve.
